everything here is subject to change.Flowering is a story set in London. It follows a group of likely friends, their highs, lows and everything in between. It tries to explore various relationship dynamics and how it can shape oneself and their perception of the world. Flowering is a character study at its core which means it's not driven by a single plot.
There's not much else to it. If you'd like to see me amateurishly write about depressed people then you're in the right place. I'm always open to constructive critique.

Meta and credits
Not sure how this entire concept popped up for me. I only ever started taking OCs seriously around 2022 (a shot in the dark) and so it all went naturally from there. I have a lot of scenarios and backstory in my head and writing will never be enough to get it all down, so I tried my very best here. I hope it came across well.
There isn't much flower motifs in this web design because I wanted to keep the focus on setting since I prefer that kind of aesthetic. I like it when characters have their own dedicated themeing in media like colours or animals, so I thought flowers were cool. It felt cute giving characters flower last names too. Of course it didn't come out of nowhere, 'flowering' is a synonym for metamorphosis, or becoming something, so I felt that was suitable for a slice-of-life type of story.
It may seem a bit deceptive as Flowering is not as sweet as the title makes it out to be, well... of course there is a lot of struggle and trauma, but there are some nice moments (the word I'm looking for is "bittersweet"). I'm also trying to recreate the brutalist big-city feel that a lot of London has and contrasting it with helpless everyday people.
